Help, I’m 200 Pounds Overweight

I have a problem. No one makes clothes that are big enough for me to fit in to. Society is not designed for larger people. My grocery bill is completely out of control. All of these signs point to the fact that I am fat and it is time to do something about it. I’m just not sure how I can accomplish this daunting feat.

Before I had figured out what I should do, I caught the program called the Biggest Loser which was about people who needed to lose weight. I went online and found out that the show had a website that included a link to the biggest loser forum where there were all sorts of helpful hints, tools and chat rooms that are dedicated to helping people lose weight. Finding someone in a similar situation as myself was very helpful and made me feel good. When you don’t have to face the prospect of losing weight alone, it is a much less daunting task. That took care of part one when I had some plans about how to reach my goal.

The next step was to come up with some actual numbers that I wanted to achieve in my weight loss journey. I weighed more than double what I should, and the time was now to fix it. I knew that I had to learn how to lose weight fastbecause my health was in danger and if I did not act quickly, I might not get another chance to succeed, and like the people on the show I had watched, I decided that I could lose more than ten pounds a week if I worked hard enough. I knew that I would have to dedicate myself to the chore, but I was up to challenge.

I could not achieve the results by myself, I knew that I wouldn’t succeed by doing a handful of six pack ab exercises in the comfort of my own home whenever I could find the time to do it, and I wanted some professional help. I decided that I would seek the help at a nearby health club I signed up for a membership, and sought out their professional trainers to help me out. I also went to see my doctor to make sure that I wouldn’t hurt myself by trying to work out. I was given a plan by my physician that would allow me to drop the pounds the right way. I was giving a workout routine by the people at the health club. The weight loss program has started.

For the next few months I devoted my life to exercise, diet, and work. I couldn’t fit anything else into my schedule. All of the effort started to pay off. The pounds were disappearing. In just the first month, I was able to lose over forty pounds. But then I hit a wall and for the next two weeks I wasn’t able to lose any more weight. All of my support groups that I had developed informed me that this was normal and not to worry about it, just keep doing what I was doing. I listened to my friends and family and stuck with it. After a short time, I started to lose weight again. All the advice I was given was correct, and I knew I was succeeding.

Since I started my diet and exercise program, I have lost almost half of my body weight. All of the benefits are worth all of the hard work. I have added over a decade to my life expectancy by getting healthy. Friends and family are awestruck at the amount of weight I have lost. I wake up in the morning with a smile on my face and a skip in my step because of how I feel. The best part of the journey has not been losing the weight although I wouldn’t want it back. I have learned that I like the way the person that I am no matter what I look like. I could not get that for any amount of money.
